Ensure the longevity of your exterior plaster and plaster furniture with our maintenance recommendations to preserve their beauty and durability.

Exterior Plaster Maintenance

To protect your exterior plaster, we recommend the following maintenance:

  • Clean exterior walls every 12-18 months to maintain their appearance.

  • Re-paint exterior walls every 7-10 years to preserve the integrity of the entire system. If you've chosen a dark colour, anticipate needing to repaint sooner.

  • Inspect exterior plaster walls, guttering, and roof annually. If any cracking is detected, please contact us promptly to address the damage.

  • Inspect ground cladding clearances annually, ensuring 175mm unpaved or 100mm paved.

  • Inspect drains, gutter outlets, and cladding bases yearly, removing any leaves or obstructions.

  • Inspect balustrade/wall intersections annually. If cracking is observed, reach out to us for a free maintenance quote.

Caring for your Plaster Furniture

Our plaster furniture pieces are handcrafted using the highest quality materials. To maintain the beauty and integrity of your bespoke furniture:

  • Wipe down your furniture weekly to prevent dust buildup on its artisanal textures.

  • Use a warm, damp cotton cloth/rag for cleaning due to the handcrafted nature of our pieces, avoiding harsh chemicals.

  • Treat our handcrafted furniture as functional art, exercising care in maintenance.

  • Avoid knocking or harshly placing objects on our pieces, ensuring even weight distribution when moving.

  • Use coasters to prevent bubbling or blistering, and promptly clean spills to prevent surface stains.

  • When moving furniture, keep them on their feet to avoid damage. Each piece features indoor felt feet to prevent scuffing and chipping on your flooring.

  • Keep furniture away from fire or extreme heat sources.

Upon pickup or delivery, the owner assumes responsibility for the care of their piece.
